Forty-four years is the gap between the Milwaukee Brewers’ last World Series appearance and the current run, a timeline that Marcus Theatres is using to drive its new promotional strategy. The company announced a series of watch parties and special screenings across the Milwaukee area to coincide with the upcoming games. The central offer for game-day attendees is a domestic draft priced at $5.

Jeff Tomachek, president of Marcus Theatres, stated that the company has anticipated this moment for four decades. "We've been waiting 44 years for a moment like this, and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate alongside our Milwaukee community," Tomachek said. He described the theaters as gathering spaces for fans to share drinks and revisit local baseball history.

The promotional menu extends beyond beer. Participating locations are offering Game Time Lemonades for $9, medium pizzas for $10, and half-price appetizers. These deals apply to specific venues, including Movie Tavern Brookfield, Marcus Majestic Cinema of Brookfield, Marcus Renaissance, Marcus Menomonee Falls, Marcus North Shore Cinema, and Marcus BistroPlex. The Wall at Gurnee Cinema will also host a sports bar experience for fans.

Two films documenting the 1982 Brewers season will screen at multiple theaters. The titles are "UECK" and "Just a Bit Outside: The Story of the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers." Screenings are scheduled at Marcus Bay Park Cinema in Ashwaubenon, Marcus Green Bay East Cinema in Green Bay, and Marcus Hillside Cinema in Delafield. Other locations include Marcus Hollywood Cinema and Marcus Valley Grand Cinema in Appleton.

Additional screening sites include Marcus Majestic Cinema of Brookfield in Waukesha, Marcus Menomonee Falls Cinema in Menomonee Falls, and Marcus Renaissance Cinema in Sturtevant. The list also covers Marcus Ridge Cinema in New Berlin, Marcus Sheboygan Cinema in Sheboygan, and Marcus South Shore Cinema in Oak Creek.

A loyalty program incentive is available for moviegoers through October 31. Members of the Magical Movie Rewards program who see a film by that date receive a voucher for one free Junior popcorn. The voucher is redeemable from November 4 through November 24. Non-members can sign up for free before their visit to qualify for the offer.

Marcus Theatres released the details of the promotions and screening schedules via a press release. Tickets, specific showtimes, and a full list of participating locations are available on the company's website and mobile app.
