Bernalillo County officials plan to present detailed updates on infrastructure changes to residents in the South Valley this Thursday. The meeting will address the status of the Bridge Boulevard Phase 3 Road Improvements project.

Commission Vice Chair Frank Baca, representing District 2, will co-host the session with representatives from the Bernalillo County Public Works department and the Public Art Program. The event is scheduled for Nov. 5 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Attendees will gather at the South Valley Multipurpose Senior Center located at 2008 Larrazolo Rd. SW. The agenda includes a review of the Sunset Road Phase 2 Road Improvements project alongside planned public art installations along the Bridge Boulevard corridor.

County organizers stated that the forum provides a venue for community members to learn about upcoming construction and design elements. Residents will have the chance to ask specific questions and offer direct feedback on the proposed projects.

The South Valley region is part of Bernalillo County, New Mexico's most populous jurisdiction. The county serves more than 676,000 residents across Albuquerque, Los Ranchos, and Tijeras. Approximately 106,000 of those residents live in unincorporated areas of the 1,160 square mile county.
