Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio went 4-for-4 to lead his team to a 10-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday, giving Milwaukee a 3-0 lead in the World Series.

Chourio opened the game with a line-drive single and followed it with singles in his next two at-bats. He finished the scoring portion of his night with a double in the fifth inning, a play that helped launch an eight-run rally. Through five innings of play, the 22-year-old had collected four hits, driven in one run, and scored two times.

The Brewers dominated the box score, recording 10 runs on 16 hits. The Rays managed only one run on three hits. Milwaukee's pitching staff held Tampa Bay scoreless through eight innings, with the Rays' only run arriving in the ninth after two hits.

This win marks the Brewers' eighth consecutive victory across the National League Championship Series and the World Series. If they win Game 4, the team will become the first in Major League Baseball history to sweep both postseason rounds. Chourio's performance in Game 3 made him the youngest player to record a four-hit game in the World Series since Joe Garagiola in 1946.

"Really, I was just taking every at-bat like it could be my last and trying to find any way I could to get on base," Chourio said after the game. "Because I know, as long as I get on base, there's guys behind me who could score."

Brewers manager Pat Murphy praised Chourio's development, noting the player's discipline and work ethic. Murphy compared Chourio's trajectory to that of Kobe Bryant, stating that the outfielder is on a similar track of continuous improvement. Murphy also highlighted Chourio's defensive efforts and a stolen base in Game 3.

Chourio has batted .571 in the World Series, with 8 hits in 14 at-bats. He has hit two home runs and stolen three bases in the postseason. In the regular season, injury limited him to 127 games, during which he posted 4.9 WAR. He is under contract with the Brewers through the 2031 season, with two club options extending his deal through 2033.
